Q. I am extremely interested in the topic of deception detection and the show “Lie to Me”. What subject should I study in school and what field should I go into?
A. Unfortunately, Lie to Me is a television drama and there is no real career of “human lie detector”. However, most researchers in this field of facial expressions study some area of psychology, either cultural, behavioral or social. They continue to conduct research in these areas, as well as study topics related to deception detection.
You can also learn the scientifically concealed signs of hidden emotion such as micro and subtle expressions by taking our MiX microexpression training or SubX subtle expression training.
Q. How do I know which microexpression training is right for me?
A. Please take a look at this page, which will help answer some of the questions you may have about the MiX Training.
Q. What is the difference between microexpression and subtle expression training?
A. We highly recommend you take microexpression training before you take subtle expression training. Microexpressions are categorized by the speed of the expression on the face whereas subtle expressions depend on the intensity of the expression on the face.
Q. I’m most interested in learning how to detect deception. Where do I start?
A. If you’re interested in detecting deception, we suggest you start by taking a look at our various detecting deception packages.
Q. I’m an individual interested in your workshops. How do I learn more?
A. Our workshops are only for groups and organizations. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer them to individuals. If you‘re part of a larger group interested in training, please contact us (info@humintell.com).

Q. How long will I be able to access the training?
A. You have unlimited access to our online training, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week up until 1 year after the date of registration. Our webinar recordings do not expire.
Q. Is the training available on CD?
A. Unfortunately, at this time all of our courses are exclusively online.
Q. When will I receive my product key after I purchase the online course?
A. Immediately after purchasing the product, you should receive an email confirmation of your purchase as well as an email containing your license key and how to activate the training through our training website.
Q. I purchased my course, got my receipt, but did not receive an email with the license key. What happened?
A. Unfortunately, our emails are sometimes blocked as spam and do not reach your inbox. Please check your spam box. If the email is not there, contact us and we will send you the key immediately.
Q. Can I share my product key with others?
A. Humintell strictly prohibits the use of sharing your product key with other people.
Q. The course does not fit on my page. What should I do?
A. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox or Internet Explorer. If upgrading your browser does not work, try adjusting the screen resolution to 1280 x 768, which is the default setting for the training. If you continue to have problems, please contact us at info@humintell.com
Q. I’ve completed my course and scored at least 80% at 200msec. How do I receive my certificate?
A. To receive your certificate, log back into the training page and go to your Humintell Online Training. Under the course name, you will see a link named “Get Certificate” next to “Click to Access Your Course”. Click on “Get Certificate” to receive your certification in PDF format.
Receive a certificate of Proficient for a score of 80% at a speed of 200msec. Receive a certificate of Expert for a score of 90% at a speed of 100msec and Master for a score of 95% or better also at 100msec. You can take the post test as many times as you’d like during your training.
