ABC News has reported on this strange  event of a mother doing something becuse a “child” wants it in spite of what is best for the child.

Kerry, the girl’s mother, told Good Morning America that it was her daughter Britney who asked to try botox.    Botox is a toxin that paralyzes facial mucsles.  We recently blogged about botox and its effects on displays of emotion.

“We were getting into the pageants,” Kerry recalled. “I knew she was complaining about her face, having wrinkles, and things like that. When I brought it up to Britney she was all for it.”

Her daughter’s response to all this, “It hurts sometimes,” said Britney.  “It makes me nervous.  But I get used to it.”
